return pump size?

I am doing a 75 gal. With a 20gal. Sump. I have a ca1800 from a tank I had a while ago and it just seams small for this tank. Is this pump going to be big enough?

Will the return pump be going directly to the tank or feeding any accessory equipment/manifold also?

Yes, it is a 635 gph pump, if you run 1" plumbing for the return it will be plenty of turnover from tank to sump.

depends on a couple of items. Are you running anything else from it (reactors, etc) and how much head loss (how high does it have to pump)?

flow will be less than normal, but if you don't have wild temp fluxuations in your home or an over the top bioload you will be fine. Certainly get some powerheads.

I have never had power heads in any of my old tanks. what size and how many do I need? I plan on doing coral later down the road.

You'll definitely want more flow then. Happy corals = lotssss of flow.

As far as what pumps, I favor Koralias because in my tanks they've been pretty much bulletproof. Ask 10 other people and you may get 10 other answers though..
