Which model should I use for 28Gal reef with 10gal sump for the brands below?

TUNZE
SICCE

Depends on the head loss and desired flow. How far/high does it need to push water? And how much do you want to move through the sump per hour?

Yeah, hard to go wrong w/ either.
I've been a diehard Eheim fan for many years, but due to drain restrictions on this tank I went w/ Tunze silence, it has a flow adjustment, very happy w/ it.
On home page here there is a drain/flow calculator that may help you.
I like 5x tank turnover in a return pump, or close to that as long as your drain handles it.

I like Tunze Silence and Eheim. Sicce is junk. Ive invested enough money into them to be able to make that comment

none of the pumps listed above will even come close to Being big enough for my system.. REEFLO Hammerhead all the way........

OP system is a 28 gallon tank. Models from any of the three brands listed would work.

I've used the Tunze Silence, and absolutely love it! Great pump and runs very, very quiet. If you want to split of your return for reactors, look at the 1073.04, if not, go with the 1073.02.

FWIW, I noticed the trend lately has been going DC pumps... to adjust as needed.
