Will be following along, looking great!
Still looking great! I wish I had some drywall skills, it's the only thing holding me back from running dedicated electrical to my tank...
Drywall is for the devil. The little part I did before installation on the tank drove me crazy. But I like how everything is coming along on your build and the rock wall facade looks good.
My 2 cents on the single return pump - if something goes wrong with it, the entire system will be impacted... Might be better to do separate pumps - just a thought
Great progress and I love the stand!!!! Tagging along!
What kind of rock do you have? Marco, reef saver, pukani etc? I used pukani on my last build and didn't do acid dips"¦.10 months later I ended up pulling all of the rocks out, did 2 dips and still have significant po4 levels. Ultimately I ended up ditching the rocks and going with new ones.
Stand looks good. It's just me but I would top it with a sheet of 3/4 plywood as well to give the tank a nice uniform surface to sit on and spread the load out over it's whole bottom.
I currently have 150lbs Fiji and another 150 lbs of Tonga shelf and mutli branch rock. All dry live rock from BRS.
