After introducing them for a week in a cheap plastic floating breeding box, I reintroduce my ocelaris clowns back into the tank along with their new friend, a red bubble tip anemone.
For several days in the temporary home, the hosting process seemed to be going well, happy and appearing to be getting along just swell. The clowns taking turns nestling in the anemone.
I redid some rock work to giving the nem plenty of space to itself, good light and moderate flow. Plus, in plain sight where I could enjoy this symbiotic relationship.
Problem is that my clowns ran back to the rear corners behind the rock work.
So is this a permanent break up after summer camp or will the clowns reunite with their best friend?
