Over the 1st semester of my sr. year in high school I have been measuring and figuring out angles, radius' and things of that sort on one of my bass's (ibanez GSR 200). It has taken me 95 hours on a computer to make this 3d model in Rhino 3D Modeling, an amazing program I might add. I just uploaded a rendering of the bass and I figured I would share it with you all. I feel it looks very amazing for my skill level with this program. I started learning the program and going threw the tutorials for about 2 weeks, then I dove right into this project. I have had 3 years backround with AutoCad, so that helps alot. Enough of my rambling tho, heres some pics.
Heres the bass after I completed the modleing part of the project:

And here is a completed rendering with color, lighting and reflections. A close up of the body:

Nice work man. I am an engineer and work with autocad "type" systems all the time so I can appreciate what you have done.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks :). I am currently working on my keys in this program, alot harder then the bass to my surprize. What programs do you use?
