ok so for a new fish list

ghost ribbon eel
antenna lion
blue tang
yellow tang
marine betta
maybe a dragon wrasse/ tuskfish/zebra eel?

is this any good? Would the bio-load be managable?

If the lion is hungry and the crab is "bite size" there's a good chance it will be eaten, but one never knows with preds. I've seen them have a "pet" fish that never gets touched for a long while, then suddenly, they're gone.

ha, I could just imagine the preds thought process; aw aren't you cute, Im a lil hungry... BAM... lol...

Ya I've heard of that happening with a group of vipers and a mouse, but when a young viper bit the mouse, one of the older ones ate it...

well I guess I could add the arrow crabs at a larger size... hopefully that may lessen the chance of the lion eating them...

OK, now im thinking I want to do a "invert free" tank...

marine betta
antenna lion
Harlequin tuskfish
dragon wrasse
bluejaw trigger
blue tang
yellow tang
and a zebra eel

Would any invert (snail, hermit, tubeworm) be safe in here?

I wouldnt put any inverts with triggers I had a ribbon eel who tried to eat my powder blue and huma huma trigger

Oh yeah... I forgot their wrasses, to find it on liveaquaria, I usealy look under misc. fish... thats probably where i got confused...

Now you said large turbos may be safe, how big would they have to be?

Mexican turbos. They are generally about the size of a golf ball. I've had them with a tusk, red corris wrasse, lunar wrasse and multiple types of triggers. An undulated trigger was the only fish that I've had successfully kill them.

I have a. Blue jaw and cross hatch with rays, and eel. No worries. They are super mellow. Easiest fish I ever kept. However escape proofing is not too easy with a ribbon eel. I lost one last year. Squeezed through the return, went through every part of the sump and got sucked into the return.

Oh Wow... that's terrable and amazing at the same time, mosty sad tho :( I'm sorry to hear that... But can we get any pics of that crosshatch, those are my fav. fish but I can't afford to spend that much on a fish, I can only imagine that it is well worth the money :)
