Rigid tubing

I need relatively rigid 1/4 tubing for my automatic water exchange system. It needs to be able to pump the water from the bottom of my 40 G container. Any suggestions?

Whats "relatively rigid"? Would cheap polyethylene tubing (commonly used in ro/di systems/ice makers,etc...) work?.
Its cheap and available at any hardware store/home depot

What not use polyethylene RODI tubing? That’s what I use. For my RO and mixing tank, I take a large PVC fitting and drill a hole in it and shove a push lock John Guest fitting into the hole and put that at the end of the tubing in the container to weigh it down since I use 100 gallon holding tanks that are 5’ tall.

It's shouldn't be curling up so it reaches the bottom of the plastic tank.

That actually sounds like a neat idea.

Could use rigid airline tubing as it comes in different diameters and lengths. Not sure how to convert over to a fitting however.

I think pex comes in 3/8".
