Easier in some ways because you can just reach right in when ever you need to do some fiddling. However, I noticed that I spill more water due to there not being a lip to catch water that comes to the top. I have to be very careful using my mag scraper.

Would you go back to bracing just because of this reason?

wow, I think I'll be going topless soon....opps I mean rimless!! :D I just bought a JBJ 10g nano and it's topless to utilize the K2 Viper HQI. I'll have to get some pics soon just put rock in it today, no sure what I want to do regarding livestock

No, definately not. There is something very cool about being able to just look down and see your fish and corals. Hard to explain really.

Goodwin, who built your Ricordia tank?

I like it!

Cool, thanks!...I can't seem to find a website for them though

The returns are external (2) to keep the size of the overflow down a bit. They are 10 1/2" x 7 1/2".
Here's a picture to give you an idea:

And with the two overflows:

There are 2 CL's underneath the tank (OM's 4-way)
This was a water test for the tank and CL pumps. I think you can see the omni flex nozzles (8) from the bottom of the tank. The large white "goalposts" are the CL intakes (waiting for black pipe) and the pumps and fittings under the tank for the CL's.

Hey Prodman...nice tank!

I just picked up (literally) my first rimless tank from Miracles as well! The thing is...I'm only a 45 minute drive away from their facilities. You're in California. How cool is that???!

Why didn't you go with a more local manufacturer?

There must be at least one in Cali.

Sweet Tank! We are building one with the exact same dimensions.

I was also thinking the Double Lamp Tree would work for our 48" Giesemann Infinity, can you tell me how well centered your light is over the tank and how high it is over the surface?

Thanks!
