The thing is, i already have a skimmer, sump w/ return pump, and power heads. I just dont like the shape of my tank. I have been looking at the 60g cube (24 x 24 x 24) or the 70g wide (36 x 18 x 24) from glasscages. Thats why i was just looking for a tank.

Well a custom tank is the way to go then, unless you can get one of the new Solana 60XL or 67 XL tanks only, but not sure you can. I've seen good work by the glasscages.com people. The stuff I want is a lot more though, I like AGE tanks and they are super custom and expensive.

Have you seen these yet?

I would go 36"long, 24"wide, and 18-22" tall.

This would give you plenty of room for equipment. They'll custom make pretty much anything you are interested in.

so reading through this thread it seems glasscages isnt quite as bad as it has been said. Im within a week or two of joining all these great looking rimless tanks and am only stuck on acrylic euro braced or glass cages complete rimless.

I think glasscages gets a bad rap due to some of the quality of the builds they do, not looking as nice as some others. I personally like their prices but have seen some of the silicon work not look so good. I know thats a small thing to pick on, but thats me.

They made this one and it looks very nice!
