Here is my new baby. 110 Reef Savvy. Wet testing today before moving into final resting place.

I haven't read much of this thread but I have some quick questions. Are people removing plastic rims from standard glass tanks? Even tanks with cross-braced rims? Removing when they are empty of course. I would like to remove a rim from a 50 gallon tall tank. Is this a good idea? Would the glass bow out too much?

Don't do that! These rimless tanks were designed like that by the makers. If you do that with a top braced tank, your tank will fail. Water Everywhere!

The 344g rimless tank is an engineering marvel. How even the thickest of glass without distorting view and color can hold that much water without bracing is beyond me.

Does the Deep Blue Edge 60 rimless need foam under the glass? There is a plastic frame but thought I'd ask anyway. I'm sure the answer is somewhere is this huge thread. Thanks!

Agreed! I want my next tank to be a large rimless. But I love how he did it upside down by putting the large rocks ON TOP of the smaller rocks.
