I love rimless tanks and finally setup a JBJ 30G rimless SPS tank. Pics will be up once I finalize my rock setup. Right now it looks like a frag tank.

This is one of nicest setup nanos ive seen. What are the dimensions?

I love my closed loop ystem on my 180 no wires in tank at all, I have a peninsula tank 72x24x24 i have a reeflo dart with 4 returns on 2 ft centers 12 inches apart, my rock scape hides all my in tank piping completely. I only regret not putting another closed loop on the return end of tank, I wanted to use mp40's I bought one but i never have been able to tell if it helps, ive tried the settings played with it alot. but my closed loop does a great job and i just wasted money buyiny the mp40, I could have put another closed loop in the end and had the flow i needed. but if you go rimless i would eliminate any powerheads and hide everything the look is uncomparable.

Who is using a metal halide above there rimless tank. I'm thinking or a single radium or something above the tank. Just curious what reflector looks best standing out alone

I'm just getting started on a 109gal closed loop so I'll let you know what I think after it is in place. Looking forward to it though!

I'm still working on the closed loop for my 109 gal rimless. The amount of effort to build a closed loop is turning out to be more work than I had hoped for. Plumbing bends take up more space than originally expected.
