Rimless Aquarium Club

Here is my rimless with screen top. I initially did not have a screen but lost a blue throat trigger due to jumping. I remove the screen when showing tank.

Im happy with it as prior to the screen i avoided wrasses and now have a nice collection.

I love how your tank is integrated into your living room. I wish mine was like this.

Love the thread. Waiting for my new tank to arrive after 10+ years away from the addiction. Am I nuts?

48 x 24 x 27"h coast to coast custom rimless. Starfire 3 sides. Internal overflow for Herbie. Custom cabinet by their carpenter painted to match the trim in my living room.

Not posting a detailed build thread but I'll get some photos up over the next few weeks. Can't wait to get it going!

Well I just joined the club with a 66G 32" X 24" X 20" rimless. Had to go with the 3 sided Star Fire glass and can't wait to get this baby up and running.

Quick question... what are people using these days for padding under the tank? I have a 1/4" piece of Styrofoam that was shipped with it, is that sufficient? Or is rubber padding preferred?

SC Aquarium made it. It didn't specifically say to use it (or anything else) but it sure looks like a perfect fit. I'll shoot them am email and see if that's what it was intended for or if it was just packing.

I know Felix at Reef Savvy requires that you place the 3/4 white foam that you can buy at Lowes (It has a shiny silver backing). If you do not he will not warranty the tank. I paid $10.00 for a 4'x8' sheet.
