Rimless Aquarium Club

what moonlights are you guys using on your rimless tanks? I really wish I could find a nice, clip on blue LED light. All of the other moonlight options seem to be best suited for mounting in a canopy (which of course I don't have). And the disco-ball solana light doesn't seem to be the best suited for mounting these either.

i have a 90 gal rimless tank my problem is that my water level is about quarter
inch from the top, how do i lower it some, i have durso i have raise it and lower it but don't work, Any suggestions?

Is the durso inside and overflow box? if so, you would have to lower the level of the teeth(if toothed) on the overflow, which can be accomplished with a dremel or router. Lowering the flow through the overflow would help a little bit as well.

Can you get a picture of your existing overflow box showing the water level and the teeth. Sometimes the teeth are to narrow and need to be widen or lowered (as mudskipper1 suggested)

Wow! Very Nice! Nice colors on all your Corals. How do you keep your tank so clean?

Crappy cell phone pics but here's my system that will running soon.

Upgrading this holiday season to a custom-built rimless starphire 40-breeder-ish shaped aquarium, with even wacker rimlessness

Looks familiar, even down to the overflow Good job on hanging arms for the light fixture.

What a coinkydink! LOL

Did get the idea from your tank after all.

The hanging arms for the ATI is from cadlights....it's their artisan series lamp tree....I just sprayed it satin black.

Man I'm jealous of the small floating overflow boxes on your miracles tanks... the one on my rimless glasscages tank is huge compared to that! Wish they would have offered that as an option.

The glass-holes overflow wasn't an option per say, I planned on using it from the beginning to keep from using the real-estate inside the tank with an overflow - I simply told Miracles where and what size hole to put in for it. I actually wanted to have an horizontal external overflow on the back of the tank, but I didn't enough room behind the tank and the cost was much greater than if I went with glass holes. I'm happy I did.

I did the same thing with my Miracles tank (which is still being constructed). The original overflow that I wanted was GARGANTUAN. I stumbled upon the glass-holes overflow and I can't wait to see the result.

Pics to come this week I hope...

Shipping next week I think:

Still needs to have the glass-holes overflow installed, which will be done before it ships.
