rip candy cane

sad news, went on vaca for a few days, my neon green candy cane was hanging out in his hole on his rock, when i came back, its gone!!!
musta fell off but cant find it anywhere?!

what the heck?! i have a pistol shrimp who likes to burrow under the rock, think he culda snagged it up and used it in his burrow?

Could have fallen between rocks? I have two heads of it and its always falling between rocks.
