RIP Highlander's Scribbled Rabbitfish

ostrow

It's Dr. Goodluck Himself
Was great, then wounds a few days ago, dead yesterday. No observable cause in the tank, etc. Everyone else is just tickled pink. Including the turf algae (grrrrr..... every fish that eats this stuff croaks).

Argh, I didn't want to hear that. i just bought a scribbled rabbit fish tonight. He's still hiding.....

Sorry for your loss.

Jamie I've suspected this for a couple years. In the last few months more of it has come back...almost had it whipped before that.

man, bad luck...flatworms adn now this...do snails eat it? and if so do they end up dead? Have you tried a queen conch, mine devours everything green and filamentous in my tank...pretty impressive actually
and quite a character...i ove him to where i want him to eat...i think he has learned that i move him to the prime spots, he doesnt even get scared of me anymore...anyway thats a long winded way of saying check one out

Do they climb on rocks? Fighting conch don't. Some margaritas eat it but not worth it as they die so fast in our tanks.

I'm resigned to the flatworms in the fuge. Never seen one in my display. So done with that stress!

Anyway, this algae has been with me for nearly 2 yrs, dating into the old tank. It came in on a frag from a fellow-reefer-to-remain-unnamed.

yes the queens do climb on rocks...and the glass. Its funny though, the shell almost falls off the poor guy
