my o.s. died overnight - dunno why. Params fine, eating well

Dr. Roy - Any idea of typical lifespan of o.s.? Any way based on size to estimate age? She was 5" at time of death. I would surely like to think she passed from old age vs. my husbandry

Also, do you have any tips on preserving her remains? She's too beautiful to just flush away.

aww, im sorry to hear about your loss. O. S. are beautiful mantids. i wish i had a tank large enough to house one. i can only imagine that it would be sad to lose one of those guys. there has to be some kind of preservative out there that you could use...but i have no idea what.
