Ripley's Aquarium

Good morning guys (and any gals),
I'm visiting the Gatlinburg area and was wondering if any reefers had feedback on the Ripley Aquarium. Is it worth the money? I figured fellow reefers are better reviewers than Trip Advisor!

We love the Ripley's Aquarium and never miss a chance to go when we are in the area. Lots of neat stuff to see. The kids love the sharks and sawfish.

It's definitely worth the money, IMHO.

I was very shocked at what a nice aquarium it was, considering how tourist trappy the town is, I really enjoyed it alot, there are lots of unique displays. I think it was about $25 each (maybe less) when we went, and thought my wife isn't HUGE into aquariums, we spent close to 4 hours inside. Really neat setup.

i am in gatlinburg right now too. i am getting married this weekend. I went to it in January and it was okay. It had some cool stuff. I would look for a coupon I am sure there are some around somewhere.

And yeah, that aquarium is great. I used to work in Sevierville, so they'd let me in for half-price. I miss that.

Also, you may want to ask in the East TN forum see as that is where its at.

It's a very nice aquarium IMO
I have been a couple of times.
It's not huge but the exhibits are well laid out. We got a behind the scenes tour in my aquatic animal medicine elective and I was able to see how well cared for everything is.
