Rising mysis shrimp

I am having a problem and been fighting red slime. I have three tanks and this is the only one.

Yes, I have checked all other issues and read today about rinsing the mysis shrimp. This is what we feed one cube a day.

How do you rinse?? Do you rinse until completely thawed out or just a little. We feed by putting the mysis cube right now into a small mason jar lying on its side in the tank.

If completely thawed out; how do I get the mysis shrimp now into the jar under water?

When you thaw the mysis, thaw it in a bit of SW or tankwater. Once completely thawed, rinse it in a small net under the tap (cold water) for a few seconds. Then turn the net out into a small bowl of fresh SW/tankwater (we use those little dip cups).

Now you can suck up the mysis in a baster or 60 cc syringe and gently squirt it into the jar. Mysis thawed in this manner will sink to the bottom of the jar and sit in a pile.
