I just put this into my 29 gallon tank. Do you guys think that the tank is to small for this type. I have two true percs and a royal gramma. Thanks for the help

While I have no exp. with these, a 29 gal. tank isn't going to cut it. Just google pictures/video of Heteractis magnifica aka Ritteri in the wild and you will quickly see that they have the ability to get over 3ft. I would try and exchange it for a BTA if you want a host species of anemone. Heteractis magnifica NEEDS Strong lighting, strong random flow and "perfect"/stable parameters for it to be happy. Hopefully others will respond who have exp. in keeping them long term.

i have a small ritteri anemone in my 29g in the past it seem to be more happy than in the new 56g right now. What i have in stock is
3 perc clown
6line wasse
sand shifting goby
ritteri anemone
bleach bta

If you maintain good water quality, a small mag will be fine for a while in a 29g, but plan to upgrade in the future to something like at least a 40g.

I believe that you could keep a mag in a 29gl and maintain good water quality. The average rookie anemone keeper is a total different story IMHO. You have the experience to look at a mag and know when it's in trouble. Rookies don't. It's much harder to keep a mag in a 29gl than it is in a 120.
