Ritteri just hit the 6 month mark a week ago

I got up this morning and my horseshoe crab was running through the tentacles of mine. Crab seams fine and i don't think the nem stung it but man it freaked me out. I've got plans to build a special tank for the crab I might should get it started before he becomes dinner I'm going to have way too many tanks going if I keep up these species specific tanks.

If they are safe, good flow, good nutrients, and mostly good light...

They will stay where they are.

Mine has stayed on the same flat rock since I put it in the tank. It moves around the rock sometimes but never gets off or tries to.

That was my experience with the first three Mag I owned - however, not with the fourth. My problem is either the lack of a smooth flat rock (it is flat but not so smooth) or just too much anemone for the size of my tank.

Right now its 'butt' is slap in the middle of the back of the tank. About ready to eat my colt coral.

lol to eating the colt coral. Mine is actually on a rounded ruffed up rock that it landed on out of the bag from the lfs. Its never released from that ruffed up rock even when ive placed flat smooth rocks beside it to try and get it to move. Also i've noticed that mine is not very agressive. I have a birdnest that is practically touching it and its never stung it, and my fish go in and through it all the time. It's probably from where its well fed.
