Ritteri Nem

That is a lot of flow. I don't know that it's too much, but that much certainly isn't necessary. It looks healthy to me. I don't see anything that would make me think it is starving.

I have had the Ritteri for about 3 month and to me it has not change to much really just the size it has gotten a little bit bigger . the Person that told me it look starving is because the lenghth of its tentacles so just wanted to see what you all think . As for the flow i just change my return pump from a Mag 9.5 to a 12 . i love the look of the nem now . I guess if it is to much it will move by its self

here is one more video

Tentacle length looks fine to me; definitely not the stubby "starved" look. I have one that has longer tentacles and one that has shorter, and their tentacles don't always look the same throughout the day. As for flow, that does look like a lot if it's constant. Mine are both pretty close to a Vortech in Reef Crest mode and seem to like it, but it provides them with periods of calm as well as very strong current that blows them around. The one with longer tentacles moved slightly to the side to get less flow, but the one with shorter tentacles stays where it gets fully blasted. As someone mentioned in the other thread, I'd also recommend moving the powerheads a little to get some more dispersal of flow. It seems to be doing fine with that much flow, but backing it off a bit won't hurt it and will make it easier for the poor clowns to stay in it. ;)

The only comment I would make is that it looks a little pale to me, but that could easily be the lighting or camera. Mine are also under 6 ATI bulbs; what combination are you using?

That looks great, Catch! Still plenty of flow for it, and the clowns definitely seem happier. Your bulb combination seems perfect. The whites are Aquablue Specials, right? Out of curiosity, what color is the base? I can't really tell in the video.

hey what kind of powerheads are those? I have a 135g with 4 950s, and when I run all 4 i am super paranoid they are going to suck up one of my condy nems since they are still very small). so i am running only 2 atm, which seems to be a good flow for them. but ideally would like to keep all 4 running for the rest of the tank etc.

i read something about a mesh screen mod wrapped around the powerhead intakes (which would be the whole outside case for mine?)

edit, quick google search revealed this, replacement screen mesh from Home Depot. I will pick some up tonight and sleep better at least....lol
