are they still open and how is the livestock quality
i need to get some peppermint shrimp and looking for a backup plan in case greg is out when i call

It is in Middleburg Hts and I was there on Tuesday and they were open. I don't know if they had any peppermint shrimp

I work down the street from it and it is Hit or Miss.

It would be wise to shop on the day his shipment comes in.

Tank care is not one of his Top priorities. Mostly every tank is really dirty.

I agree it is usu not much for livestock, little to choose from.
I do like their dry goods selection and also have a lot of tanks at a good price.

Going there today. They have a deal, $50 in gift certificates for spending $100. The coupon is good only until today, so I will use it.

They haven't been at the old location (greenhouses) in Berea for many years.

I went there today and they looked at me like I was crazy when I mentioned that coupon. Was it a special or an actual coupon you had.

It was a special one. There must have been a lot of people who got it and used it. The guy in front of me at checkout had one and so did the next person after me. I signed up a long time ago for their email list, and 90% of the time when I get one of these coupons which are rarely if ever the same, I get over there ASAP. This time, I couldn't get over there until the last day, so if there had by chance been any photosynthetic clams, neat tangs, or pincushon urchins that we would have wanted, they were gone. So I picked up some koi for the pond.

By the way there is a fish club auction next Saturday in Medina on Rt. 18 a few hundred feet west of the I 71 exit. Likely a buyers market on any saltwater stuff that shows up. Mostly tanks, equipment, and freshwater fish and pond plants, but you never know.

I'm surprised the employee had no idea what I was talking about though. I am interested in this auction.

Here is a link where you can download the auction flyer and rules.

I was kind of hoping  to be the only one there bidding on saltwater stuff, but it's for the good of the hobby if there is a little competition.
