RO/DI Filter Replacements

Not sure if anyone else has had an issue, but I placed an order with AquaticReefSystems a few weeks back. Never heard from them about the order and never received it. No response to emails and they never answer the phone anymore. What gives?

This leaves me with a dilema. Where do I get replacement cartridges? Carbon, Sediment and DI? I have an Oceanus RO/DI system and I am in dire need to get the cartridges replaced.

Anyone have a suggestion or can point me in the right direction?

Anyone know what happened to ARS? They just fell off the earth it seems. They used to be so good too.

Im not sure but I think many cartridges are interchangeable.
Try searching thru another manufactureres website and visually compare them. Order ONE and see if it fits. That's what I would do

I have purchase membranes and cartridges from Marine Depot, Pet Solution, Foster & Smith, Custom Aquatics, That Fish Place. I have heard people purchases membranes and cartridges from E-Bay at a low price compare to the above. I have never done this, but will try it next time I need a replacement. Most of the cartridges are interchangeable. You will need to match the membrane as per your restrictor.

Thanks for all the great links. Exactly what I needed! As for the restrictor, I don't have one of those. What specifically are you referring to?

All RO or RO/DI have a flow restrictor. It is located in the waste water tube somewhere. The flow restrictor determines the amount of RO/DI water produce. So,if you have a 100gpd unit, then you will have a 100gpd flow restrictor, a 50gpd unit would have a 50gpd flow restrictor, etc. Membrane are rated by gpd like flow restrictor and should match.
