Anyone ever tap into a cold water copper line using something like the fittings used for refrigerator water supply lines? Considered adding another slop sink in the basement but wondered if this would work instead??? Thanks
That is called a saddle valve and it is can be used if the pressure is ok. At least 40 psi.
You can also cut the tubing and put a T inline for a more secure connection. Its not hard to do.
