RO/DI PH High

I checked the PH on my RO/DI water and the PH was close to 8.8. My tank was running a little low at 8.2. Is there any concern, I have a automatic top off system which keeps up with the evaporation. It seems that this would help the main system from dropping but is it to high?

my ro/di output is at 9 ph, but I add kalkwasser to it to use as top off (so ph will be around 12). If I make saltwater mix, it ends up around 8.1-8.2. I used to not use kalkwasser for top off and it was fine, but my ph was lower than yours, and the 9ph on the top off water did not affect the tank ph at all.

The pH of RO/DI water can't be measured accurately by hobbyist test kits or meters. It's actually rather difficult to do. RO/DI water has no buffering, so it's pH is irrelevant, anyway. The salt mix or tank water will set the pH, in any case.
