RO/DI product reviews?

i can tell u one thing the ro/di from the filter guys works like a champ but anything from brs is a good buy too they sell quality stuff

IMO a RO/DI is only as good as the membranes/filters in it... What people fail to consider is that the membrane is good for 2 or 3 years, and the sediment/carbon filters are good for only 6 months... The DI resin must be replaced as it is depleted... So once these time frames expire most of us replace with generic brand filters/membranes instead of the Kent/Seachem/Spectrapure...

BRS, Filter Guys, Air Water Ice are all quality vendors selling excellent products... I would go for whichever is cheapest... :)

I have been extremely happy with the $500+ of products I've purchased from them in the past 2months! Can't comment on that exact unit but I've purchased bulk DI resin and replacement RO cartridges.

CBehr~ Do you use their color changing resin??? I'm about to order more DI resin, and am thinking of going that route...

Very happy with BRS unit. I just bought the same one about two months ago and couldn't be happier. Bought the dual inline TDS monitor and pressure gauge out the door for around $200. Highly recommend the inline TDS monitor, very easy to keep track of TDS with a push of the button. It makes about 5 gals of water in an hour, as that's what I topoff every 2 days. Just have it on when needed.

I have one from Bulk Reef Supply. My Tap water TDS is about 30 and the water coming out of the RO side is 0 before it even goes through the DI part.

Thanks everyone. I decided to go with the Bulk reef supply RO/DI plus as stated before.
Now my question is when it arrives in a few days how to i set the darn thing up. Do i need to get a plumber or is it fairly easy. i was hoping to install it in an unused bathroom stall. Would this work?
