RO/DI system suggestions?

I am looking to buy a RO/DI system. Any recommendations? I have pretty much just been looking at the MD stuff and the RC sponsor - Purely H20 -anyone have any experience with them? Their prices seem to be pretty reasonable. Thnak in advance for the advice.

I ordered mine from airwaterice and it had worked out great. i get 2-5ppm out of the RO unit and di takes the rest. A small part on the RO was broken upon shipment - after telling them i could just go buy it at HD for 3 dollars to replace it, they gave me a 20 dollar credit.

...can you all post prices of the units too? Makes it easier for a comparison. :)

Not to hijack the thread, but I'm looking for a unit for my apartment where I can connect it and use it just to get enough water for WCs and then unplug it to use for regular stuff...can these units do it, or are they hard-plumbed into the water system?

I have the KENT one 60G per day. Works fine and it's plug and play.

I think i got it at Jeff's for like $200 during one of their sales which they run periodically.

My filter direct unit is at 0

Thanks for the replacement filters Kevin!

How much did it run you?

It was right around $100....One think that kind of sucks though is the horizontal DI cartridge....It would be better vertical...

I have a brand new unit from Filter direct. It's the 110 gpd model with DI tube (full of nuclear grade resin not the cheap color changing stuff). Includes all filters & membrane; all are new. It also has the under sink connections & water spout as well as the clear chamber on the first stage sediment filter.

$100 takes it; pickup in Fullerton (saves $30 in shipping from filter direct)
