RO/DI waste to production

Ok my waste is 3 1/2 cups to 3/4 cup of production. According to the chart my flow restrictor is supposed to be at 6 inches. However, its at 5 inches I never cut it so I dont understand.

I am using the spectrapure mpdi 90gpd according to this chart.

oops I think I did it wrong lol. Ok so I divide 800ml / 177 ML so my production is 4.5/1 correct? so I am good?

And you don't need to consider the 'reject' water as waste. It's likely cleaner than your tap water becuase it's already gone through a couple of filters (although rejected by the RO membrane). I make a lot of reject water due to having about 600 gallons of saltwater spread over 4 tanks and 2 sumps. I use our reject water to do laundry.
