RO/DI Water container

I have been having trouble with my corals, I have checked everything I can think of and now the last thing I can think that maybe causing issues is the container I use to store my RO/DI water in. What do you all use to store your water in?

thing is i dont like the idea of storing water. I mix in the salt until it disolves then i pour, or syphon the water into the tank. Takes about 10 minutes and all the :fish2: and corals are great and fat.

I store my water change water in an old fish tank. I store my top off water in an old salt bucket. Never had any problems.

I store un-salted water in a 32gal brute trashcan. The day before doing a change I mix salt into 5 gallon buckets with a heater. Then when doing a water change I just siphon the water into the sump.

I have a 55 gallon drum (food grade) that I cut the top off & mix water in there. Use a 15 gal drum for top-off water.
Steve Helinski who used to be on here had a thread some months back where he was experiencing leaching of TDS from poly containers & was storing his water in glass. Do a search & you should be able to find it.

I use one of the 30 gallon green Rubbermaid garbage barrels for kalkwasser (not a BRUTE- too pricey IMO) and a blue 55 gallon food grade drum for FW.

I was wondering if you could put a plastic garbage bag in your container as a liner? Anyone think that would work?
I have one of the 18G tubs (usually for drinks, kegs at parties) and I'm worried about how good that would be for holding water too.
