Ro/di water smells in storage

If I let newly made ro/di water sit in a plastic tub with a lid it starts to have a weird smell the next day, unless I leave a powerhead in there circulating the water.

Can I buy a brute trash can with the lid and store water in there without a powerhead, will it still have that weird smell after a day?

Probably growing something. Try bleaching the container and see if it still happens.

Thanks I'll think about doing that if I don't buy a brute sooner rather than later, since my container is too low to the ground for moving around.

Incase anyone stumbles across this one, I found my answer here, looks like the brute trashcans have the smell too when theres no water movement...
