Can RO/DI water sit in a storage tank with out being mixed for a few months?

Sure it can sit..
If its not sealed its TDS will increase from settling dust/dirt,etc.. so cap it

I have a 45g plastic tank that holds RO/DI water until I need it. I have to refill it every few weeks.

I have two 50 gallon drums. If I would have to have the water moving all the tume then I probably wouldn't want to fill them because that will last me a few months for water changes.

You don't need to circulate it..
