hey peeps!

So i tested my phsphates on my rodi unit and it cam out to be .06. so i changed out my RO membrane and tested again and it was .015. i was okay with that... then i made 30 gals of water (after wiping out my storage tank) and it phosphates now read .026... im not okay with that...

I changed all of my other filters (except the membrane) about 2 to 3 months ago... so would this mean that those filters are going? the TDS is reading 0 after the DI and around 11 to 12 before the DI (with DI as the last stage).

any ideas? i dont mind replacing all of the filters if i have to, which i think is my next step.

i was thinking that... but i wiped it out and it was dry. its a standard 29 gallon tank from petco... so it shouldnt be causing issues.

What smooth said or do you have a cover on the tank that's snug? You could have stuff settling in the tank and you don't even know it. Salt spray, dust and other things...

What is the tds going into the system? Dual or single DI cartridges?

i have one DI at the very end...


i also have a foam lid on my storage tank that fits over very snug!

and the test kit that i am using is Hanna phosphurus... so i am not sure... maybe i can try a different one. i think i have a salifert one... but who knows how accurate it is.

Does the water in the tank come in contact with the foam lid? Maybe it's leeching something?

no it does not and i didnt hav ethe lid on when i filled up the tank with RODI water........:hmm3:
