RO filters

Is there a local place to buy 5 micron sediment filters and carbon filters? Just seems like a waste of money to get from filter guys, my shipping would cost more than the filters.

I buy all my replacement filters on EBAY from Aqua safe. ALOT cheaper and you can get more than one set.

Do I have to use 1 micron sediment and .5 micron carbon filter?

Or can I get the 5 micron ones.

No - you don't have to use the 1 mic/0.6 or 0.5 mic combo. If you'd like, you can use other filters. Make sure that the carbon block has a pore size about equal to or larger than the sediment filter pore size.
