I have a large reef tank and always struggle with nutrients. I recently tested my make up water with a new di cartridge and reading 0.0 with di meter. With my hanna meter it is .05, not bad for the whole tank but I was really hoping that my addition of 3 gals a day would not add so much phosphate.
Has anyone else tested their top off water. Hind site I should have purchased a house not built on 100 yr old farm land with a well.
