RO Pressure Gauge and In-line TDS meter Installation Q's

I already posted this question in the equipment forum but thought maybe I should ask here since this is where I would be buying it from...

Anyway, I was going to get an RO unit (Kent Hi-S RO/DI 35gpd) and wanted to get a pressure gauge. I see the Kent Deluxe unit have guages and TDS meter but I prefer the HM Digital In-line Dual TDS Meter with the In and Out readings and not just a pass fail meter as is in the kit. My question is... "Does the pressure gauge listed here insert into the membrane housing, the canisters, or does it just hang off the lines/hoses?

Also someone had mentioned that the In-line Dual TDS Meter might not be directly compatable right out of the box with the Kent unit. What fittings if any are needed? Is it possible to just get the Kent Gauge with the HM Digital In-line Dual TDS Meter?

Hello Reefbone,

Thank you for your post, The pressure gage would be inserted directly into the membrane housing. The HM Digital In-line Dual TDS Meter does not need any fittings to be installed to the unit. It has the John Guest speedfit fittings to attach to. This particular RO unit is already set up with a tds meter, we would not be able to switch them out for you. What you would need to do is purchase the HM Digital In-line Dual TDS Meter separately and switch them out

I hope this information was useful for you if you any further question please feel free to shot us an email customercare@marinedepot.com
