RO system

Just wondering what system you all have? I am looking at a few RO systems and I am unsure if I need a pump or not. I don't need mass quantities of water, even for water changes, but I don't want to short myself as well. Thank you.

Any of the systems from RC sponsors work very well. Use the 75 GPD Filmtec membrane, it has the most efficient rejection rate. As for the filter blocks, get chloramine ones if your tap has chloramine.

If you need a pump or not would depend on your water pressure- do you know what it is?

I think it is 60 psi but I am not 100%. Yes we have chloramine and as we speak the utility Co. is flushing the city system with Chlorine. I have been buying distilled water and I'm tired of it.

I have used a few different RO/DI units (Oceanus, Optima Vision, SpectraPure CSP-DI, and SpectraPure MAXCAP). My favorite is the SpectraPure MAXCAP. IMO SpectraPure's filters are hard to beat. Customer service has helped me out on a couple a occasions and is second to none.
