ro system

Neither. I used the regular unit for about 10 years but spent much more modifying it than it was worth to make it reef quality. It a decent drinking water unit but thats about it. The zero waste system is a bif no. It is limited to about 20 GPD maximum due to its design and cannot be made bigger. It also requires electricity and dumps the concentrated brine back into your hot water heater making your tap water even harder.

There are several good vendors here on RC that all sell reef quality systems.

www.spectrapure.com has the absolute system on the planet with their MaxCap RO/DI system in either a 90, 150 or 300 GPD configuration. Nothing even comes close to it for filter life and water quality.

www.buckeyefieldsupply.com has great units in their 75 GPD Premium series.

www.thefilterguys.biz have the Ocean Wave +1 and Ocean Reef+1 that are both great units.

www.purelyh2o.com has the Optima Vision and Optima Automated that are both good units.
