Don't want to bum you guys out, but I do not know of any wholesalers that will let outsiders into their facilities.

I am sure that with the amount of things Matt purchased for Exotic in the past and Fish Planet now, that they are opening specially for him. That being said "THEY AREN'T OPEN ON THE WEEKENDS!!!" Like any other buisness, these places are not stupid. They understand that Matt spends several thousands of dollars at a time and I am sure they are opening to accomodate him. The places I go when I am down there are not open on the weekends. I also can only get into them because I used to work for a huge place in Socal and know a few people. Showing up there with 3 other hobbyists would be the easiest way in the world for me to lose my priveledge. If this is part of the reason we were heading down there and you guys want to back out, I completely understand. As a rule I usually never take other reefers to the wholesalers as well because I do not want to anger the LFS and feel as though it would be an abuse of my privledge. I spend the majority of my money at the LFS just the same as everyone else. When I do go to the wholesaler, it is usually to buy stuff for the MARS raffle. There are some amazing places I had in mind of visiting while we were in L.A., the wholesaler was just not one of them. If Matt wants to take us though to one that specially opens for him on a saturday I am ok with it. I am sure he has a lot more pull and access than I do. You have to ask him for that though.

If Mike goes do we have a Vehicle we can use that will hold 5 people? I think it would be cool if he went. ALso that means one more person to chip in for gas

What stores are you guys planning on going to? Im just asking because I used to live in the LA area and in a couple years, I'll be heading back. But I do go home from time to time and would like to check some good places out. I checked out Tongs in Fountain Valley last week. It was ok. Had more dry goods than SW fish and ever fewer corals. Had a few nice clams though
