Here we go, another build thread. A Keith Grandt 60G 36x19x20 Peninsula. This is going to be a real slow build, and take my time. Still deciding what sump I am going with, 20L, 40b or a custom Advanced Acrylic 30g 30x15x15 Sump.

Cool, clear silicone! My next tank will also have clear silicone and will be built by Keith again. How do you like the clear vs. black silicone?

Beware the turbo twist. ..I had a 18 watt that inside metal reflectors rusted and corrode on me only after 6 months of use....sps slowly died after two months and I couldn't figure out why. Found out when I took the tank offline and clean the darn thing. PM me if you like pictures...but good start!!!

Yeah, the 612 is a bit of an overkill, I'll just dial it down. It was a deal I could not pass up. The manifold was rigged so I replaced it with a new one. Lid, PH probe holder, and new Manifold from Geo.

Getting a little bit of work today on the stand. Just cut out the holes for the main and emergency drains and the return line. Also the cut outs for the corners for the bottom panel. Going to sand and paint with rustoleom topside marine paint. Hope to get this done today.

Man, I almost pulled the trigger on a Ruby 30 yesterday, but I went and bought a 30b from exotic yesterday, to do a diy, hope I don't regret it.
