there are alot of tanks that run solar tubes. Wonder why they never have algae? Maybe look them up and ask and see if they can help you out.

Dinoflagelates, or at least some of them, are supposed to need silicates to build their tests. Have you tested for silicates in your water?

I would consider converting to LED lighting, much easier to control and far better aesthetically, you could easily light that tank with Cannon pendants

Fantastic tank. To bad about the dino's. Ever think of covering tank and running lights over it?

Looks great! Very interesting. If I had a tank that size I would turn it freshwater, much easier to maintain comparatively. Think of the South American biotopes you see at the zoo. Turtles, rays, and large cichlid.

Keep up the amazing work, one of the best builds iv seen.
