Rock Flower Anemone + Clownfish?

I have a beautiful rock flower anemone, but I'm considering sending it to a new home. I plan on eventually keeping a pair of b&w clownfish and I'm not sure how they would do with this particular anemone. Does anyone have any experience or advice for this? It really is a lovely creature, so if it wouldn't eat the clowns down the road, I'd like to keep it.

I doubt that your flower anemone (E. crucifer I'm assuming) would eat a clown. But, of course it would not host a clown either. If I were to add a pair of clowns, I would personally make sure they aren't too small --I think a very small clown would be more likely to fall victim to a flower anemone than a medium to larger one.

I've got a ~3" rock flower and a pair of maroons (2" & 3.5"), no issues whatsoever. The anemone only takes food smaller than pea-sized, and the clowns ignore the nem completely.

I'm so happy to hear that...I'm completely in love with this nem even though I never intended to have one in my tank. (Was sent as a free extra.) What do you feed yours? I was thinking mysis would be good, but I'm not sure and I can't find as much info online for this particular type of anemone. Thanks!
