rock flower anemone tank placement

I have a rock flower anemone that opens full at night, buy only partially during the day. The lights are the standard quad 48 inch T5s , hes about 8 inches under them on the side of a rock. He doesnt move so i assume the light isnt to bright. Anybody have experience with them?

IMHO. These anemones can be a little odd. It seems that having the right hole to put their foot in is more important to them than other environmental influences like light and flow. I've seen them sit in one spot and bleach out when they could have moved to a better position.
Is the anemone bleached?
Does it feed, or have you fed it?

yes ,, he is eating and not bleached . Right now, he is open full under the blue led moonlights. At some point i may just move the entire rock he is on down lower to see if that helps
