Rock flower anemone

Does anyone know how I can find and purchase rock flower anemone's. Having a hard time with any of the stores around me supplying them. :mad2: I have one but would like more but not liking that I have to have one shipped from Florida to California. Bad experience the last time

Ask your LFS to get it for you. That way it will come in with a larger shipment to the store and the store takes the risk of transportation. You just ask the store to hold it for a few days to a week before you take it home.

Rock flowers are pretty hearty and should travel fairly well. But then I'm spoiled being in SW Florida where they are quite common. I have 4 ordinary looking rock flowers that I have collected while snorkeling in the Keys and 15 fluorescent colored rock flowers I bought from an LFS in Miami who gets them while scuba diving on a 30' to 40' deep reef the Keys. The plain ones, brown, tan, off white and green, sell pretty cheap. The fluorescent ones, like pictured below sell for anywhere from $50 to $100 depending on coloration and supply.
