I've got over 50 rock anemones together in my 30g they are probably the easiest of all anemones to keep. I feed mine every 3-4 days and have had them all for about 4.5 months and waiting for all of my ultras to spawn so I can get some babies. But overall great anemone to get and quite hardy as well.
Other than a few people here that say that they have 'propagated' these anemones, I'm not aware of any others being successful with that!
My biggest one is a little bigger than my Palm... They don't move much but do require more frequent feedings.
...but do require more frequent feedings.
Palm size is not full grown ...mine usually get to at least 6" diameter...
I've been keeping them for almost 40 years, and they have always done fine with 1 or 2 feedings a month!
Mine are young. They were both the size of a quarter a few months ago. They both manage to grab mysis shrimp during feedings so I really only feed them specifically once a week or so.
