I have a 46 gallon bow front tank

I have no problem keeping the large carpet anemone in the lower right hand corner but can't seem to keep a simple rock flower anemone alive to save my life. What specifically do they need to stay healthy.

My water parameters are all good, i have power compact lighting 96w dual daylights and 96W dual actinics. The large anemone and the corals all seem to do very well but rock anemones and condalactys anemones just never seem to last very long.

We recently got a rock anemene and feed it frozen fish...sometimes it curls up in the tank eating something ? seems to be doing great...nothing special to feed it. Could it be where you place it in the tank ? Ours is middle water column...

good luck....

I have one that took a ride on a crab and was stressed for about 2 months. He lived in a hole in a rock for 5 months until he was moved. He is looking for a place right now but hes doing great.

The one i have likes medium light, and medium flow.It is approx 6" across feeding frozen shrimp & silversides twice weekly. The few i have had before under mh's stayed hid alot, even when placed down low. good luck.
