i once heard that you can cut rock flower nems in half for propagation, just like you can with the BTAs. but when i look for information on it there is none.
i would like to hear if anyone has done this before and had success.
No and I would strongly advise against it with this species, Epicystis crucifer. These anemones only propagate sexually, not by asexual fission. So, cutting it would very likely simply kill the anemone.
i have another guy on a forum saying that he has done it before so im bumping this to get more opinions. i know they may not split naturally that doesnt necessarily mean it cant be done.
so again has anyone tried this? success or failure?
