Rock Flower Pushing it stomach out?? Help?

Hey Guys, I have a beautiful rock flower anemone that as of late consistently found with its stomach (mostly) flip outside its body...

I feel like its my fault... but I have read so many conflicting stories about the need to feed them. Some say its not needed (like they are photosynthetic) Some say feeding a little, some feed them every day... or every other...

I was for a while feeding every day and it slowly diminished to every other day to 2 times a week to not at all... Feel a bit stupid now, and after really thinking about it... how could a creature, any for that matter so readily accept food but not need it....

An odd additional fact is, not long ago I added a second rock flow anemone. A few months later my BTA detached and got shredded by a powerhead and the rock flow anemone has been sticking out it stomach? Related? I have read a few times people having issues with mixing different anemones...

Here is a picture and video, before any problems occurred, I dont have a picture of it with its stomach out ATM, if I have a sec I will snap one when I get home.

I noticed its less sticky then is was normally, the water all tests normal. SPS and zoas all seem fine with full polyp extension....

I would wonder about chemical warfare with the mix of corals you have. Are you running carbon, if so maybe step up the frequency of changes. Also, over-skimming and increased water changes might help.

I feed mine once a week minimum and find it to be very hardy. Its such and easy animal to feed I just squirt a few mysis towards it and they stick right away. Mine like to eat a lot but I resist overdoing it. I think it would eat as much as I gave it. I would say it has gown to about 4" when fully expanded.

Hope your does better soon.
