Rock in derasa clam

Hey all I guess my derasa clam didn't like where he was and decided to flip off the short rock he was on. He is currently on his side with his mouth closest to the sand bed he moved quite a bit of my sand around of course but I noticed what looks like a small rock inside him.

Do I need to help him remove it or just leave him alone?

I would just leave it be... I'm sure the clam will be able to rid itself of the stone if it becomes a problem.

YOur clam probably got along without you for many decades. just let him be. Most critters have means of coping with common problems.

Not sure about the small rock but I am fairly certain that Derasa clams prefer the sand over a rocky substrate.

I have a Derasa and I have to agree with all the posters here! Leave it be!
