Rock making Party

Whom else has play sand they can contribute? I believe St. James said he had some bags he can spare. Anyone else? Or who knows where to buy some silicate fre sand if needed? How much do we need. Ryan is bringing crushed oyster shells, Piazzon is bringing salt. What else is needed? For those laying out money for supplies, leave me the receipts which I will submit to the zoo for eventual repayment.

Hey everyone, not trying to throw a wet blanket on this party, but remember its graduation weekend at most colleges for may 19th and 20th, so keep that in mind in case of a date change.......

Cool. Pick up some of the white sand. be sure to keep the receipts. Might want to check that no-one picks up any of the K-mart sand.

they had mentioned pulverized limestone in the DIY rock forum, and said that it is nicer to use....ill check at the tractor supplie store tomorrow and see if they have any of this...since i just checked the quikrete does have quartz in it so that is no good...but it is the only sand that i could find at any store HD, lowes, walmart....does any one know of any cement places that might sell sand that we can look at????
