The rock needs to be put in wate for about 2 months so it can cure and let the PH come down. I have a stream in my backyard I will be putting it in there on Monday...
hey ryan how is your toilet bowl rocks coming???? i did the same thing and put some of my small pieces of rock in the toilet bowl, and i took one out today to see how it was doing. it looks really good so i said ehhh lets break it and see if any salt is still there...to my surprise there was no salt within....i think with the constant flow of the stream these rocks will be done sooner than we might think...i know there is still the PH issue but ill be testing that when i get some time...
Rocks will be going into the stream tomorrow.. was going to do it today but due to the fact that a few beers got into me I didn't think being near water was a good idea...
I was away all weekend so I havent looked at them since but I will today. I looked at them before I left and they look great. As far as done sooner goes, Its a ph issue for sure. Id be willing to bet that the cement hasnt even started to drop in ph yet but i will place mine in some clean water and do a test.
